Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the eight core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Data Visualization Developer, you will join Turnberry's Data & Insights practice and service. Turnberry's Data & Insights service helps clients who seek visibility into company data, lack a single source of truth for accurate data, desire advanced analytics solutions, have data governance needs to ensure data quality, or have specific data challenges that may require an assessment, proof of concept, or custom solution not available in a typical out-of-the-box analytics methodology.
Responsibilities:
Develop visually compelling and insightful dashboards to present complex data in a clear and concise manner
Utilize advanced visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to transform raw data into actionable insights
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and design comprehensive reports
Create and maintain standardized reporting templates, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all reporting outputs
Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
Provide actionable insights derived from data analysis to support strategic decision-making
Regularly communicate updates, insights, and findings to senior leadership through presentations and reports
Act as a liaison between the reporting team and senior management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to validate the accuracy and reliability of data visualizations and reports
Proactively identify and address data discrepancies, ensuring data integrity across all reporting outputs
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards that provide a real-time overview of key performance indicators (KPIs) and critical business metrics
Create visually compelling charts, graphs, and other data visualizations to represent complex information in an easily understandable format, including trend analyses, correlation studies, and other relevant visual representations
Conduct ad hoc analyses in response to specific requests or emerging trends
Quickly explore and interpret data to answer business questions and address immediate concerns
Actively seek opportunities to enhance reporting processes, data visualization techniques, and analytical methodologies
Implement improvements to increase efficiency and the overall effectiveness of reporting
Document reporting processes, methodologies, and key decisions to create a knowledge base for the reporting team
Privacy Report Tool - Centralized privacy reporting into one tool (to simplify the multiple dashboards in production today)
Privacy logic enhancements - Address the backlog and future enhancements of the privacy reports
Remediation Report Enhancements - More quickly respond to privacy remediation requests for insights into progress and status updates
Operational Reliability Reporting - Build and support operational reliability efforts such as DPCA; partnering with development operations to create a single view into data asset performance
Qualifications:
Proven experience (3+ years) in data visualization, dashboard creation, and report authoring
Proficiency in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization platforms
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences
Experience Working With Senior Leadership Or Executive Teams Preferred
The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $160,000 or the hourly equivalent.
