Back End Developer Intern

Role DescriptionThis is an internship role for a remote Back End Developer Intern. As a Backend Intern, you will work with our development team to create, maintain the user interface of our web-based dashboard and API integration with our partners. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to gain experience and skills in a fast-paced startup environment. This opportunity is a remote 20hr/week contract. We prefer people from Central Europe and Hungary.

Key responsibilitiesTaking active part in the development of Traders' Fund backend integration.Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications.Write well-documented and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and programming languages.Learn and work with relevant tools, frameworks, and development methodologies.

QualificationsPursuing or have completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldProficiency in Python and React or other related fields.Familiarity with back-end web development frameworks or libraries such as Flask, Spring, or Express.jsBasic knowledge of database systems such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQLStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teamsExperience with version control systems like Git.

Good to haveBeing located in or willingness to relocate to Budapest, HungaryKnowledge of the financial markets.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform is a plusPrevious experience working at Banks or large financial institutions
