Drupal Developer

Full Stack Drupal Developer | Contract | 100% Remote | £400/Day (outside IR35) | Immediate

Hydras are partnering with a large global Financial Services organisation and seeking a Full Stack Drupal Developer to work in an application DevOps team for a minimum term of 3 months.The Developer will be primarily responsible for back-end/module development but some front-end skills would also be preferable and, as such, this position requires a combination of programming skills (PHP, HTML, CSS, JS, etc.) The best candidates have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. In addition, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development and CI deployment. Key Responsibilities: Designing and implementing new features and functionalityEstablishing and guiding the website's architectureEnsuring high-performance and availabilityManaging all technical aspects of the CMSWork closely with other Developers and customers to ensure an effective, visually appealing, and intuitive implementation. Essential Skills: Ideally 5+ years experience developing web solutions in Drupal and PHP implementations, ideally in an AWS environmentAbility to architect enterprise Drupal solutions including data, display, and information architectureAdvanced site-building experience including deep familiarity with Drupal modules such as CTools, Views and PanelsExperience creating custom Drupal modulesExperience building responsive websites using Drupal CMS, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript/jQueryKnowledge of PHP, PHP files and theme functions, and knowledge of the Drupal theme layerThrough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements, Design, Development, Testing) and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs.Ability to understand CSS changes to have consistent style across platforms and browsersAbility to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pagesExperience with Git and modern deployment processes (CI/CD)Experience in EKS and Docker would be highly advantageous
