Senior .Net Developer (Contract)

This position is responsible for creating, testing, ensuring the quality of and maintaining a product or product line. The Senior Software Engineer will design and write complex code, testing and debugging tasks as well as provide high level analysis related to software design and development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with the agile team to participate in agile ceremonies like grooming, planning, standup, retrospective, demosActively contribute to grooming, and standup, create & update tasks, estimate and statusDesign and development various software component using .Net Core and SQL (T-SQL) on Azure platformCreate design documents and component level diagram like flow, component, sequence etcUtilize industry standard design patterns to make configurable and dynamic codeExternalize rules, utilize feature flags, test driven development methodologyWork with data and analytics engineers to integrate PowerBI dashboards and optimize database queries etc.Understand security management and integration with Azure AD for single sign on and role-based security managementCreate exception and logging framework and utilize Azure Log Analytics & App Insights for monitoringPerform code reviews, peer reviews, performance data matrixUnderstand messaging (utilizing Azure Event Grid) and other operational aspects of application development and monitoring, alertingTake ownership of problems and continuously strive to become a better problem solverWrite and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and correctionsMaintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement;Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; andFulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 7-10+ years’ experience of related professional experience, healthcare experience is preferred7+ years of experience in Microsoft technologies like .Net, C#, SQL Server, T-SQL3+ years of experience in front end technologies like Angular2+ (preferred), React, JavaScript, CSS3+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure, CICD pipelines5+ years of experience in SQL, T-SQL, Database structure etcDemonstrates high personal integrity and ability to earn trust from othersDemonstrates a growth mindset, seeks feedback often and is effective in continuous personal and professional developmentAdvanced design/debugging/coding and problem-solving skillsStrong written & verbal communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology;

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time) Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;Subject to inside environmental conditions; andTravel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes
