Fullstack Developer - PHP / HTML5 / Kubernetes - UN Agency

For a United Nations Agency, NTT DATA is currently looking for a Fullstack Developer to contribute to the design and development of the UN Agency´s platform.Your role: Review business requirements based on the needs collected by business analysts and business owners.UX design and coding in line with software quality standards and adequately addressing identified needs.Develop and implement automated testing scripts ensuring all new features are fully tested using automated tests.Provide regular progress updates to project manager on the design, development, and implementation of features. Analyse, resolve, and deliver bug-fixes for bugs reported by end-users.Advise and contribute to the design of a longer-term development roadmap.When required by the project manager, provide feedback on the development roadmap.Develop adequate documentation of the work as required.Provide timely documentation on implementation guidelines, best practices, and architecture.Your profile:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, or any other relevant field.Up to 5 years or more of relevant experience in the design, development and maintenance of advanced information systems using open-source technologies.Proven skills in the areas of web development, both back-end and front-end, with a careful attention to detail to continuously monitor progress actions and initiatives.Demonstrated knowledge of PHP5 programming and experience in PHP Frameworks (Yii2 knowledge is a plus).Demonstrated skills and knowledge on front-end languages and libraires (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript and JS).Demonstrated experience in JavaScript frameworks (React knowledge is a plus).Excellent relational database skills with MySQL.Knowledge on Kubernetes web servers.Desirable knowledge of data collection processes and tools, data management, analysis, and reporting.Ability to adapt and manage deliverables and resources in a climate of change, and to think and act quickly under pressure yet remain effective.Ability to promote best practices, advise on improvements, independently perform research, and apply information from a broad range of sources;Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to be part of and coordinate with a diverse teamExcellent oral and written communication;Results-oriented and ability to work in a team;Proactive, flexible, resourceful, and able to work independently with limited supervision.Expert knowledge in spoken and written English.
