Job Overview:
As a Guidewire Developer/Consultant/Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Guidewire Policy Center, Billing Center, and Rating modules. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements, configuring Guidewire systems, and ensuring the integration of ISO extracts and business content (BC) within the insurance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guidewire Configuration and Implementation:
Lead or assist in the configuration, customization, and implementation of Guidewire Policy Center, Billing Center, and Rating modules based on business requirements.
Ensure alignment of Guidewire configurations with ISO extracts and business content specifications.
- ISO Extract Integration:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand ISO insurance standards and incorporate ISO extracts into Guidewire systems.
Develop and maintain integration processes for ISO-based data, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Business Content (BC) Integration:
Work closely with business analysts and underwriters to incorporate business content into Guidewire systems.
Configure Guidewire systems to support business rules, workflows, and processes defined by BC.
- System Maintenance and Support:
Provide ongoing support for Guidewire Policy Center, Billing Center, and Rating modules.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system functionality, ISO extracts, and BC integrations.
- Rating Module Management:
Configure and manage the Rating module within Guidewire to support accurate premium calculations.
Collaborate with actuaries and business stakeholders to implement and update rating algorithms.
- Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, testers, and other IT professionals.
Ensure effective communication and coordination for successful project delivery.
- Documentation and Training:
Prepare documentation for configurations, integrations, and maintenance processes.
Conduct user training sessions on Guidewire systems, ISO extracts, BC, and rating functionality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and Rating module implementation and configuration.
Familiarity with ISO insurance standards and experience integrating ISO extracts into insurance systems.
Strong understanding of business content (BC) integration and configuration.
Knowledge of insurance industry practices and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Guidewire certifications (e.g., Guidewire Certified Professional).
Experience with other Guidewire modules or versions.
Knowledge of insurance data analytics and reporting.
Familiarity with emerging trends in the insurance technology landscape.
