Python Developer (ETL)

Boutique Management Consulting & Advisory firm servicing both Government & Commercial clients seeks to hire a Python Developer to join their Digital Solutions & Analytics group.

What Will You Do:collaborate with both internal & external clients and provide DATA consultative and hands-on DATA solutions supportrecommend optimal data ingestion, processing, transformation, and integration strategies within client AWS environmentdevelop and automate ETL processes and data pipelines to efficiently ingest data across many data sources including building APIsintegrate data from diverse sources into a cohesive and unified data architecture for decisioning supporting Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence needsdevelop and deploy scalable data models that fulfill client requirementsmaintain a metadata management framework to guarantee the accuracy of data definitions, quality, lineage, and accessibilitycollaborate on data management, data warehousing, data governance, data security initiativesthoroughly document data architectures, models, and ETL processesprovide high-level business intelligence support and lead operational efforts to productionize machine learning algorithms and BI dashboardseffectively convey intricate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a data-driven culture

More Info:this is a HIGHLY REMOTE role with travel to HQs in Washington, DC one time PER quarter excellent benefits + base salaryhands-on + strategic thought leadership role

Responsibilities/Experience:Bachelors or Masters Degree MUST have strong Python data manipulation skills (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, etc)strong data wrangling skills with Python (ETL, automation of data pipelines, batch / stream processing)strong data warehousing and data management experiences exposure to leading cloud platforms is a huge plus: Azure, AWS, GCP (Docker, DBT, Pydantic, CDK)
