Project Details:A private theology school is looking to develop a comprehensive streaming platform with mobile applications to provide students with access to their educational content and resources. The platform will be accessible across various platforms, including CarPlay, Android, and other OTT devices. The Institute has chosen to leverage the client’s platform along with custom bells and whistles.

Profile DescriptionAndroid Engineer with Native experience

Responsibilities:Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin programming language.Implement user interfaces that closely align with design specifications, ensuring pixel-perfect accuracy and a seamless user experience.Integrate with backend services and APIs, utilizing OpenAPI specifications to implement robust client-side functionality.Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and stability on Android devices.Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies, and proactively apply them to enhance the development process.Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements, and actively contribute to the improvement of development processes and standards.

Requirements:Proven experience as an Android Engineer with proficiency in Kotlin programming language.Strong experience using MVVM architecture in Android applicationsStrong experience using Android data bindingExperience developing both Android mobile and Android TV applications from scratchExperience with exoplayer is preferredExperience implementing design-accurate UI using XML layouts and Android Jetpack components.Proficiency in integrating with RESTful APIs and implementing clients from OpenAPI specificationsSolid understanding of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean code practices.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
