As a Junior Web Developer, you need to have:

A basic understanding of plain PHP or JavaScript;A good understanding of OOP;Basic understanding of software design and architecture, especially MVC;Experience with MySQL or any SQL database types;A good understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON).

These are Nice-to-Haves:

A little working experience (internships and your own projects count);Some experience with Laravel or Symphony;Some experience with Sass;Some experience with JavaScript frameworks, such as Vue.js or React.js.

This is what you are going to LEARN and eventually do on your own:

PHP (mainly Laravel), HTML, CSS and Vue.js;Write clean, well structured and commented code;Support the development team in finding the best technical solutions;Write detailed specifications and follow industry best practices;Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle;Attend SCRUM meetings.
