Ruby on Rails Developer

Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to joinour team. As a RoR Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, andmaintaining web applications using Ruby on Rails. You will work closely with our existingdevelopment team to deliver high-quality code and contribute to the success of our projects.Responsibilities:• Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails framework• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code• Identify and address performance issues• Conduct thorough testing of applications and identify bugs• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the Ruby on RailscommunityQualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalentexperience)• Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer, with at least 5• years of professional experience• Strong understanding of the Ruby language and the Rails framework• Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript• Experience with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and experience with testingframeworks• Ability to write clear, concise, and efficient code• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills• Strong communication and teamwork abilitiesOptional (but beneficial) qualifications:• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies• Knowledge of front-end frameworks/libraries such as React or AngularJS• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices
