Who is the client? We are hiring for a Fintech product company. Their product opens new doors for merchants by providing a sophisticated and flexible payment solution to online merchants who want to increase profit. We work with large retailers, business platforms and large Not-For-Profits. Our teams are located internationally across the United Kingdom, Ukraine and Australia. You will have the opportunity to work with global leaders, payment service providers and technology vendors across Europe, APAC, the US and other markets while being part of the next generation of payments for merchants and the industry.

Responsibilities: ● Plugin Development: customize, and maintain PHP-based ecommerce plugins and modules to create integrations with the company website. ● Integration with platform APIs: Act as the expert in integrating with the payment APIs, ensuring seamless transactions and adherence to best practices. ● Security Protocols: Implement and maintain robust security measures, incorporating advanced encryption methods and keeping up to date with emerging threats. ● Performance Optimisation: Continuously improves system speed and responsiveness through code refactoring, database optimisation, and algorithm enhancements. ● Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure holistic plugin development. ● Continuous Learning and Upgradation: Stay updated with the latest PHP technologies, frameworks, and libraries and ecommerce platform frameworks. ● Scalability and Resilience: Architect systems that can handle increasing transaction volumes and maintain high availability. www.ivy-tech.co ● Documentation and Code Reviews: Lead code documentation and participate in code reviews to ensure codebase quality. ● On-Standby Responsiveness: Be on standby to respond promptly to issues, calls, and other system-related matters as they arise. Work closely with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues with agility.

Some Good To Have Skills: ● Proficiency in methods of creating adaptive and responsive design. ● Creativity and acknowledgement of a good style and trends. ● Experience with PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies. ● Experience working with ecommerce platforms such as WooCommerce, Shopify, CommerceTools, etc. ● Experience with integration of payments system APIs (PayPal, Stripe, etc) as well as understanding of basic underlying concepts, standards (ISO8583, PCI DSS, etc). ● Experience with task management system Jira & Agile Methodology (Kanban, Scrum). ● Understanding of CI/CD principles.
