About your Opportunity:Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced FileMaker Developer to design, develop, and maintain customized applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in database management, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, project managers, and business stakeholders, to understand application requirements.Design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient FileMaker solutions to meet business needs.Create and maintain documentation for all aspects of the FileMaker applications, including data structures, layouts, scripts, and workflows.Perform regular testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and performance of applications.Collaborate with end-users to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to optimize user experience.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for FileMaker applications.Stay current with industry trends and advancements in FileMaker technology to propose and implement best practices.Work on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and meeting project deadlines. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a FileMaker Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.Proficient in FileMaker Pro Advanced and experienced in creating solutions with FileMaker 18 and above.Strong understanding of database design principles and relational database management systems.Solid knowledge of scripting, calculations, and automation within FileMaker.Experience with integrating FileMaker solutions with other systems and technologies.Experience in an scripting language like Perl or Python will be an added advantageUnderstanding of web methods and web applicationsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Working knowledge of LinuxAble to work flexibly in multiple time zone (Mainly GMT +10 & GMT +8, ie Australian and Asian time zones) Preferred Qualifications:FileMaker Certification.Experience with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).Familiarity with agile development methodologies. Requirements: You will be home based for ultimate flexibility, with 7am-4pm local work hours. To qualify for this role your computer must be able to run the latest MS office 365 applications and have good Internet speed.
