Your Mission:Our team works closely to customer technical team on developing detectors that run on GCP infrastructure. The goal is to identify potential configuration flaws that could lead to security incidents.The team also manages the backlog, and members are responsible for handling tasks and understanding the scope of work, without explicit roles like Scrum Master, Architect, or QA. You'll work on evolving and maintaining the front end of the Security Command Center, which contains security best practices used by major global companies.Therefore, each individual is responsible for the ENTIRE software engineering process of their task:
- Regular participation in meetings with the client in English- Understanding client documentation/demands and extracting the backlog- Refining tasks- Proposing task/demand solutions- Negotiating deadlines and solutions with the client- Keeping tracking tools updated- Ensuring criteria for 'done'- Writing integration tests- Documenting- Testing the solution in the available environment
You need to have experience with:Have solid experience in Java backend development;Have experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform);Being able to communicate in english (CEFR B2);Perform as a complete software engineer: from understanding the problem, doing research, proposing and discussing solutions, and incorporating the feedback; to delivering the solution, also working on tests (manual and automated) and technical writing of manuals, tutorials, guides or documentation;Have experience with requirements detailing and technical grooming.
You will stand out if you have:Have notions of Golang and/or Angular development.Have development experience on other programming languages;Hold any of the following GCP certifications: Professional Cloud (Architect, Security Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Developer e Network Engineer) or Associate Cloud Engineer;Have notions of cloud infrastructure security.
