Job Description:Producing clean, efficient code based on specifications and guidanceDevelop, maintain and use deployment pipelines (following infrastructure as code paradigm)Build, deploy python services in Kubernetes (Python)Setup automation/ test scriptsSupport Electrical Experts with Python expertiseFixing and improving existing softwareImplementation of technical solutions in deep collaborate with all team members incl. architectsPut specific focus on user centric software design and develop software that meets and exceeds the needs of our internal customer and as well fits to the requirement for the supported external business process.Professionally maintain all software and create updates regularly to address customer requirementsAnalyze and test programs and products before formal launch in an iterative way.Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplaceActively seek ways to implement solutions to improve business software processes and interactionsCoaching and training of other team members to ensure all employees are confident in the use of development supporting tools, e.g. in Azure framework Requirements:Min. 3+ years knowledge in Python development and surrounding technologies (Professional)IT/tech-related academic degree (bachelor’s or master’s degree) or equivalent through experienceSeveral years Python coding experienceConceptual knowledge of software design patterns, continuous integration and securityBroad technical knowledge to help to advance our technological landscapeFluency in other programming languages is a plusExperience with Kubernetes, OpenShift and similar cloud technologies is a plusExperience with web integration technologies such as REST and streaming services like KAFKA is a plusConceptual knowledge of dependency injection, software design patterns and continuous integrationExperience within the energy transmission/ distribution sector (TSO/DSO) and Grid Analysis/ Calculation is a big plusEnglish: B2-C1 Will be a plus:1+ years knowledge with streaming technologies e.g. Apache Kafka is a plusGerman is a plus.
