Position Overview
Do you love building ⚙️ products people love? As an SDET you will work with our developers and product team to bring innovative mobile technology to the market. You will be responsible for owning our test suites, improving our tools and processes, developing, and maintaining our automation suites, manually validating new features, running automated and manual regression suites, and empowering development teams to move faster, with higher confidence .
As a member of our Engineering Team, you'll have the chance to collaborate on exciting projects and find creative solutions to coding obstacles. Your curiosity to continue learning, as well as a knack for problem-solving 🧐, will be key to delivering innovative products to our clients and their guests, as our team members are always looking for new ways to push the boundaries of what’s possible. Location: United States; then, you choose what works for you! This role can be performed 100% remotely anywhere in the US.

What You’ll Be Working On
Work within an embedded scrum team and validate functionality as it is being developed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and design comprehensive test plans. Play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Derive test cases and coverage from software requirements, client experiences and expectations. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test solutions for our applications. Use real world scenarios to validate that functionality is working as designed. Work in an Agile environment highlighting good organization and reporting skills. Collaborate with other members of QA, as well as various other teams throughout the organization, including product, development, and client services. Use extremely strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with people and teams.

What You Bring To The Role
2-4 years' experience in a SDET role. Note: ‘years of experience’ may not always be the best measure for your ability to succeed in this role. If the below bullet points feel like you, please consider applying – even if you don’t have, say, X years in seat. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java. or other object-oriented languages. Experience implementing end-to-end test automation to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of products. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Coding experience with automated testing frameworks, tools, and services. Experience influencing software engineering best practices within your team. Solid understanding of testing methodologies, software development life cycle, and agile practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, prioritize, and address software defects. Ability to perform root cause analysis and work collaboratively with development teams. Desire to build high quality products.
