About the roleReporting to the CEO, our first developer advocate will help developers learn about Chalk and understand the best ways to integrate Machine Learning Infrastructure. You will focus on engaging and supporting the MLOps community. This is your opportunity to join us in-person as an early employee and make a significant impact at a high-growth start-up.What you will doWrite blog posts and other technical content for Chalk users and prospective usersConnect with like-minded developers and educate them about Chalk’s platform Engage the developer community through online channelsRepresent Chalk at developer conferences, events, and hackathonsBe a point of contact and become an expert in ML infrastructureCreate presentations, videos, and demosWhat we’re looking forProfessional experience as a software, data, or machine learning engineerUnderstanding of Machine Learning Ops/InfrastructureStrong knowledge of Python, bonus points: interest in Rust or C++Experience in the open-source community and community buildingExperience with public speakingAbility to communicate with both technical and non-technical individuals and groupsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical fieldInclusivityChalk is an equal-opportunity employer.
