Summary:A software engineer applies computer science and mathematical principles to design, develop, test, and evaluate software and systems. Responsibilities include overseeing database modifications, directing database development, planning and implementing security measures, and supervising system installations and testing. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills, along with expertise in the full software development lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities:

Review and approve modifications to existing databases.Instruct staff to write logical and physical database descriptions.Direct database development and approve project scope.Review project requests, estimating time and cost.Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures.Approve, schedule, plan, and supervise installations and testing.Develop standards and guidelines for software use and acquisition.

Skills:Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.Expert ability to work independently and manage one’s time.Expert mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.Expert knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.Expert ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.Expert knowledge of computer hardware and software.Knowledge of computer development software as it relates to systems, such as SQL, VisualBasic, etc.

Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or relevant field.10+ years of experience required.

Purpose of the Team – This is for a Power Automate Developer. The team is building a notification framework that have models and codes that support it.
