The JDE E1 Developer Consultant is a client-facing role, leading and supporting high value customer projects. This role requires someone who is a self-starter and capable of working independently. Responsibilities: SolutioningWorking with our Managed Services Application team and our Application Lead to review client issues / pain points and determine the appropriate solution.Guiding clients toward using best practices and finding solutions for their complex business problems using the best technology options availableExtracting client requirements from a variety of sources, defining specifications, and delivering the final solution Development & SupportDeveloping/customizing JDE E1 objects based on client specifications using both the classic development toolset (RDA, FDA, TDA) as well as modern, low-code development technology (UDOs, Orchestration Studio)Troubleshooting client issues and tickets, providing action plans and remediation stepsLeading and participating in technical projects such as:System Upgrades / Code CurrentDigital Transformation initiativesIntegrationsAutomation/OptimizationDe-customizing JD EdwardsTechnical project planning, estimating, scope definition, and requirements planningKeeping up to date on the latest Oracle JDE E1 technology, low-code/no-code development and Orchestration Studio updatesManaging multiple projects and clients at onceEffectively communicating technical information clearly to senior management Experience and Qualifications

Must haves:Computer Systems Analyst (undergraduate degree or post-secondary diploma)Minimum five (5) years' experience in E1 Development in a consultant/client engagement roleExperience working in a project setting with multiple JDE E1 resourcesFluent in all aspects of classic JDE E1 development technologyExperience developing:E1 Development Toolset in 9.2.1.x Tools release and 9.2 Application release with multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, iSeries, SQL, Oracle)Troubleshooting difficult problems and creating action plans for remediationTechnical specification design and documentation
