Questline Digital’s Front End Developer is an expert on user experience and visual design. They work with development, creative, and content, and the client-facing team to conceptualize and design web pages and emails that are easy to use and visually appealing. This person is familiar with modern day JavaScript frameworks, and the handoff between design and development. They are fluent in CSS and HTML as well.

This position is chiefly accountable to/for:

Work closely with Accounts, Product, and Engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle to produce best-in-class user experiences and user interfacesProvide technical oversight to more Jr. employees to implement HTML email solutions for clients; code and test as needed.Stay up to date on industry trends and market conditionsAdvocate for and educate on best practices in experience and visual design

Job Qualifications:

The qualifications we are looking for are mixture of work experience and educational background.They are split into Minimum Qualifications (must have) and Additional Qualifications (nice to have) along with soft skills (competencies) needed for the role:

Minimum Qualifications:

4+ years of work experience as a UI/UX, or Front-End Developer4+ years of experience with the front-end development stack (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery), Bootstrap and CSS frameworks; AJAX and JSON objects.2+ years of experience designing SaaS web-based applications for B2B audience.2+ years of experience working with modern JavaScript Framework (React, Angular or View)1+ years’ experience in HTML email development, cross email, and browser testing1+ years of experienced in Figma or similar design tools

Additional Qualifications:

A portfolio that exemplifies strong visual design and a focus on defining the user experienceA strong understanding of typography, layout, color, and advanced design principlesExperience with email marketing, design and analytics is a plus.Experience with jQuery and Razor is a plus.
