Position Description
The successful candidate will:
Support database design and database development efforts for specific application project teamsPartner with service-layer backend team members and system architects to define resources within a contract-first design paradigmWork with automated TFS and Jenkins based CI/CD pipelines to deploy Visual Studio database solutions to multiple environmentsBuild robust unit, functional, and regression tests as part of a SQL Server value pipelineTroubleshoot database issues in multiple environments as part of a highly collaborative teamPrepare scripts for modifying and maintaining production schemas and dataIntegrate Transact SQL code, SSRS reports, and SSIS packages into source controlMigrate client-provided data into existing database schema in a way that maintains the data integrity of the destination systemParticipate in SAFe ceremonies, including Product Increment (PI) planning. Contribute to maintaining Project Backlogs are required
There are some operational requirements, but the position need is mostly for SQL Server Database Development for Web based .Net. applications. Prior experience implementing large scale relational data warehouse on SQL Server platform a plus. Basic familiarity with C#/.NET coding and web-based development experience would be a plus.

Education And Experience
Computer Science or related technology/engineering degree1-3 years of SQL Server Development Experience in an enterprise environment;Candidates without a college degree will be considered, but must have at least 3 years of SQL Server Development Experience in an enterprise environment;

SQL Server 2016+ Administrative skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio database projectsAbility to write robust functional and regression tests for T-SQL views, stored procedures, and functionsEntity Relationship Diagramming skillsExperience with Red Gate database toolsSSIS design and implementation experienceSSRS development and deployment experienceSSAS design and implementation experience including writing basic MDX queriesExperience working with databases articles that are utilized in SQL Server replication publications and subscriptions
