Responsibilities / Duties• Test Planning and Execution: Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure that software operates within defined requirements.• Defect Tracking and Reporting: Identify, track, and report defects found during testing, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.• Automation Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.• Code Review and Debugging: Review and debug code to identify and resolve issues, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and problem-solving• Salesforce Platform Knowledge: Maintain familiarity with the Salesforce platform's architecture, components, and data model, including objects, fields, relationships, profiles, and permissions.• Analytical Thinking: Translate complex business processes into successful test scenarios and cases.• Problem-Solving: Demonstrate proficiency in problem-solving, particularly when identifying the root causes of defects and suggesting potential solutions or workarounds.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities • Proven experience working as a QA Developer/Programmer with a focus on Salesforce.com applications.• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes related to Salesforce development.• Experience in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications.• Proficiency in automation testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, ApexUnit, or similar tools.• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to Salesforce applications.• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Administrator) are a plus.

Experience/Education• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Salesforce.com development and QA testing.• Proven track record of successful implementation of QA strategies and methodologies for Salesforce applications.

Physical and Work Requirements

Employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear for long periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds.

Extensive local travel required within territory. Valid driver’s license and good safety record required for driving to locations. Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions
