Java Full Stack Developer

Cognizant Digital Engineering practice is looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Developer with solid experience Java, Spring Boot and AWS and experienced with front end and back end frameworks such as AngularJS and/or JavaScript.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate knowledge of Industry standard processes.Able to develop high quality code and assist junior developers.Conducting unit testing using automated unit test frameworks.Be an advocate of security standard methodologies champion and support the importance of security within engineering partnering with Digital and Enterprise security teams and digital product owners to ensure compliance.Analysis to proactively resolve product and operational issuesUsing coding standards and best practices to ensure quality.Responsible for end-to-end application delivery including coordination with required teams for production deployment Continuously supervising application health and KPIs support triage of any production issues as and when needed Collaborate in solving complex data features service platform issues and perform root cause.Work with Unit testing using framework such as JUnit Mockito JBehave Build and deploy services using Gradle Maven Jenkins etc. as part of CI/CD processParticipate in Agile Scrum team activities including Sprint Planning Grooming Daily Scrum Review and Retro Develop applications/web services and cloud native apps using Java/J2EE REST API Spring Core Spring MVC Framework Spring Boot Framework Spring Security and other tech stack.Collaborate to drive solutions that would reduce cost and time to market Participate in Program Increment (PI) planning and establish communication across all team and Product OwnersWork with Product and UX teams to be part of a team of engineers in developing sophisticated code pioneering customer experiences and build industry leading digital experiences

Qualifications

8+ years of experience shown work experience as a Software Engineer with sophisticated knowledge of application data and infrastructure architecture fields4+ years of developing in modern programming languagesJava 4+ years of experience in relational databases NoSQL or cloud datastores OracleDBExperience with Log4j Splunk Springboot3 Angular 2-8Experience working with Spring MVC MySQL Java Angular JS JavaScript Spring Boot SQL AWSExcellent knowledge of Java / full stackExcellent analytical skills.Exceptional communication skills.Highly proficient and hands-on experience in Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, API Willing to learn new technologies and enjoys working in a dynamic fast paced environment.Strong communication skills and participates actively in discussions with business collaborators, architects, and the team members.

Location: Woonsocket, Rhode Island or Remote
