Full-stack Developer

Are you a Full-stack Software Developer skilled with Java, React, TypeScript and cloud technologies?

A fantastic opportunity has come available to join the fast-paced Agile team at a software consultancy working on high level security government projects, think the MI5 of software development!

You will be a Full-stack Software Developer who has strong, commercial experience with Java, React or Typescript and good exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.

You will be working fully remote but if you are someone who prefers to go into the office you can do so, with offices based across the UK in locations like London, Bristol and Manchester, the choice is yours and with flexible working hours you will have freedom in when and where you work.

Due to the nature of the work all candidates will need to be SC clearable and have held a UK passport for 5 years or more, with no other live passports.

What you'll get:

£55-75k salary depending on experience.Fully remote working.Flexible working hours.Annual bonus.25 days holiday (Carry forward or cash them in if not used).5 days paid leave each year for learning and development.Pension, healthcare, accident cover etc.

What you need:

Strong commercial Java experience and use of it's related technologies.Experience with front-end frameworks such as React and TypeScript.Good expertise in cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.Understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.Experience working with version control systems like Git.

What you'll be doing:

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement software solutions including design, development and testing.Deploying software systems to a mixture of environments, including public (AWS and Azure) and private cloud.Utilising tools such as GitLab to build continuous integration pipelines, to help monitor and ensure software quality and security.Full Software Lifecycle involvement: project concept formalisation; requirements analysis and specification; architecture design; implementation and delivery; training and support and software lifecycle and maintenance.Contributing to code reviews, sharing knowledge, and mentoring junior team members.
