Qualified candidates submitting an application will be considered for this Contract-to-hire opportunity. Candidates local to Southeast Michigan who are willing to work in an on-site or hybrid environment will be given preference. REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILL SET: 4+ years of experience building cross-browser, performance-conscious websites in professional settingFluency in vanilla JS, HTML, CSSProven success in building responsive web and mobile apps using React framework (SPA preferred)Experience with front-end build, debug, and profiling tools (Webpack, Grunt, Chrome Dev Tools, etc.)Highly motivated to solve complex problems and learn new technologies DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Produce quality, performant code according to industry and internal standards and KPIsPromote reusability within applications being developed and write clear documentation to ensure code is understandable to provide insight into design decisionsUnderstand build/deploy processes and create artifacts as neededSupport production team through on-call support rotation, troubleshooting, and triageParticipate in PR reviews and mentor junior developers
