About the job

We are on the lookout for a Python Developer with strong technical skills and experience of at least 3 years. The role comes with a lot of challenges that you will enjoy solving; whether it’s building APIs; or systems that scale to billions of requests daily; working with big data; or integrating with third-party partner ecosystems.

Our client is a software-as-a-service company that owns and develops a cloud-based platform used for business planning, which enables large organizations to accelerate decision-making in areas ranging from finance to human resources.

A typical day might include the following:Be part of a team of engineers that own, design, and shape a high-scale, distributed system that productizes the core AI/ML solution.Use your Python, Django ORM, and Storm/Spark/Flink knowledge. (3+ years)You are expected to have infrastructure and DevOps knowledge, to understand the tools we are using, as we own all the application stack E2E, and we do ourself all the infrastructure work.Upgrade your AWS/GCP, Python ML libraries, and Tornado knowledge.Shape the full pipeline by building a scalable backend solution for automation of data ingestion and extraction.

To ensure success in this role, you need the following experience and skills:You are a quick learner and are willing to take responsibility of your product throughout its lifecycle, from development to production;You are comfortable with Python, SQL, and Rest API calls;Experience on working with Grafana/PrometheusExperience in configuring dashboards, alerts, and alarmsIntegration experience with the DevOps teamKnowledge of microservices architectureExperience with Jenkins, minimum understanding of Kubernetes and Helm Chart, Docker, AirflowYou understand how traditional relational databases are built.You have experience of working in cloud-native environments;You can work independentlyYou have solid applied knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing.You are used to being a sparring partner for the client in making technological and design decisionsYou are proactive and results-oriented with a strong passion for technology
