Senior Software Developer

Currently, we are looking for a Senior Software Developer for our Application Evolution and Management team in Poland.

Your daily responsibilities:

Being part of a close-knit team of 4-6 professionals and a service line of several teams who support each other and share knowledge activelyMonitoring, optimizing and evolving solutions, as well as resolving issues and service requestsCollaborating directly with customers (context switching between 3-4 customers)Collaborating with internal teams of software architects, developers and other professionals working on the systemsWriting codes that will power some of the most influential services in Europe

Your key skills:

Tech skills & experience with web technologies, experience in more than one programming language3+ years of experience with Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one of the hyperscale public cloud providers (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud)Experience with GitExperience with React and/or serverless solutionsAppreciation for code that is easily read by humans and efficiently executed by machinesStrong motivation, ambition to develop skills and growSelf-organized ways of working and self-leadership skillsContributing to Nordcloud’s internal community and enabling the best collaboration between colleaguesStrong communication skills in English

What sets you apart (we’d consider any of these a big plus):

Previous experience in working directly with customers in operative or some other capacityExperience working in international environments with geographically dispersed teamsExperience in monitoring and troubleshootingSolid understanding of agile methodologiesExperience with Java and containerized solutions or willingness to learn these skills
