Details of the role:Azure Cosmos DB is a globally distributed, multi-model database service offered by Microsoft. It is designed to provide high availability, scalability, and low-latency access to data for mission-critical applications.

Key responsibilities: Writing high-quality and well-tested codeFollowing the latest design and development patternsEnsuring that project and engineering duties are fulfilledSolving any engineering issues that come up in a projectDeveloping applications that use the Azure Cosmos DB for NoSQL APIWriting efficient SQL queries for the APICreating appropriate indexing policies

Required Skills:8-10 years’ experience. In which mini 2-3 years in cosmos development.Migration design and executionCosmos data modelingCosmos DB RU migrationCosmos DB vCore migrationAzure Data Factory and/or Data BricksAPI for NoSQLSparkCosmos workload optimization (100 customers)Application DBA skills to tune application queries and the underlying model..net SDK and Java SDK for Cosmos/NoSQLWorkload optimization is important as there is a backlog of customer workloads that can be worked on while getting migrations ready for execution.
