About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a Sr Design Technologist who is well versed in enterprise-level SaaS to be responsible for the execution and implementation of our Design System. You will ensure that all elements of the software experience are optimized for usability, adoption, and exceptional visual design.

You have a passion for delivering adaptive and creative solutions to design challenges by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in experience design, technology, and accessibility. You will be a part of an incredible team of visionaries on the mission to enhance the lives of loan servicers and borrowers' by designing the BEST experiences in our industry.

Your Day-to-Day at Sagent:

Leveraging and enhancing the company’s brand through exceptional development work.Producing world-class solutions through the building of components and accessible front-end development to enhance the interface of our solutions.Utilizing best practice in accessibility to ensure our software meets world class and industry standards. Develop new or modify existing components using best practices for WCAG 2.x compliance.Create or update advanced component documentation to effectively communicate guidelines and ensure consistency across products.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the component library supports needs and improves efficiency.Participate in both design and code reviews, iterating quickly in a fast-paced, start-up like environment.Write unit tests using Jest to ensure expected functionality.Write beautiful and consistent code on par with best practices for industry and according to internal standards

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

A bachelor's degree (or comparable certification) and a minimum of 4+ years of related experience in applicable field.Previous Enterprise or SaaS experience required.Previous experience in finance industry a huge plus.Deep proficiency in JavaScript/HTML/CSS and related frameworks, primarily React and Typescript.A passion for creating beautiful, engaging, intuitive, efficient, highly usable user interfaces.Implement responsive web design principles to enhance the user experience across various devices and screen sizes.An interest in, or desire to advocate for web accessibility.
