Senior Python/Django Developer

We in Formaloo have recently raised €2 million in funding to grow our market, and we’re now expanding our team in line with this goal. To do this, we’re hiring a senior back-end developer for our team.

Up to this point, we have had good growth in product development with the help of our team, and now we need to be able to increase growth so that we can meet the needs of our new market, and we can also maintain our quality at a higher scale, both at the product level and at the infrastructure level.

Our team is fully remote with flexible working hours, and works with the Scrum method. We value open and regular communication between members, and we like the basis of work to be mutual trust. We also like to give our team members the opportunity and possibility to grow in their field at all times.

ResponsibilitiesFormaloo's backend is written on Python/Django and We also use PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, and Redis for database management, queues, cache, etc. Our architecture is a hybrid Service-based and Microservice architecture. The entire technical infrastructure is also on AWS.

Our back-end consists of multiple services of various sizes all written in Django. Currently we need a teammate that can help us develop these services further and possibly break down and rewrite some of these services into smaller services, whether with Django or other lighter Python frameworks that are more suitable for microservices such as Flask or FastAPI. (Our preference is to stay with the Python language for now).

Familiarity or work experience in the field of software analysis and design, databases, architecture, and also AWS stack will be very useful to us.
