Full stack developer

you will have the opportunity to design, build, test, maintain, and have a direct and meaningful impact on the roadmap of the Kroger Technology platform. You will be responsible for design and development of highly scalable Merchandizing applications.

Key Responsibilities:Develop Store Authorization and Merchandizing applications in cloud platform technologies.Collaborate with designers & product managers to iterate on the design & implementation of our productWork with Engineers across the Assortment, Merchandising and Item area to build and ship features.Identify and uphold engineering best practices.Monitor performance, watch for traffic drops related to usability problems & rectify the issuesReview app and feature code, and plan future API upgrades with the development teamTech skill set for Full Stack Developer:Strong experience with front-end web development (JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS etc)Experience building scalable backend services with Java and/or GolangHands-on with modern frontend frameworks (Angular preferred, React/Vue etc)Experience with Relational databases like MS SQL Server and/or MySQL/PostgreSQLStrong understanding of microservices architecture and web protocols and APIs (REST, GraphQL)Familiarity with Azure is a plus.Experience with Linux server and/or containerization technologiesFamiliarity with DevOps tools like Docker and CI/CD pipelines
