Here are the challenges that our next warrior will face and the requirements we look for: Position Title: Data Warehouse Developer What you will be doing: Assist in the design and development of Snowflake objects needed for data warehouse environment. Development and maintenance of the Metadata UI mapping tool. Translate queries from in-house Meta Data UI mapping tool from SQL Server to Snowflake Responsible for developing and maintaining ETL/ELT tasks, within Matillion and SQL between operational and warehouse databases. Helps facilitate the development of reporting and dashboard solutions that interact with the data warehouse. Able to improve query performance in Snowflake using the Snowflake Query Profiler. Ensures privacy and security of data throughout development lifecycle. Maintains comprehensive documentation of all developed applications and data dictionaries. Follows company source control requirements. Performs quality assurance and regression testing to validate production readiness. Assist with Report and Logi Development. Design and develop methods to improve the integrity and data quality of the data warehouse compared to the source system. TECHNICAL SUPPORT Provides technical support for the data warehouse environments. Assist with data mapping requirements as needed. VMS ANALYTICS Provides technical support for the integration of Logi dashboards into the VIZIV desktop. Maintain a technical understanding of the analytic toolsets being used with the data warehouse. COMMUNICATION Collaborates with business and technology stakeholders to ensure successful data warehouse development and utilization. Direct interactions with customers while reviewing requirements, developing and supporting processes. Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships. Understands and stays informed with our suite of internal supply chain management applications and data. SUPPORT 24 hours a day, 7 days a week support for all Data Warehouse and Analytics servers. Monitor the Data Warehouse and Analytics servers for exception events and take necessary steps to resolve the immediate issue and then implement changes to avoid the same event in the future. Responsible for updating and closing helpdesk tickets within Tempero©. Assist with the development, implementation and execution of disaster recovery plans. TEAM CONTRIBUTION Be a leader within the team and organization, assisting other departments on issues, tickets, tasks to improve overall team knowledge, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
