Java Back-End Developer

Who We Are Seeking:We seek a talented and experienced Java Back-End Developer to join our international team. Your Role and Responsibilities:Design, develop and implement PoCs, production-ready features in standalone applications or to be integrated with other applications;Debugging and troubleshooting;Create extensible and modular middleware/back-end services to be used by other layers;Research and develop in a variety of problem domains;Create documentation and ensure adequate security and compliance with our coding standards.

Essential Qualifications:Broad knowledge of object-oriented programming;Java 11, Spring Boot, SQL, RESTful services, pub/sub, Amazon AWS, Linux / Unix, TDD;Experience and knowledge in distributed systems, SOA architectures and microservices;Having designed and implemented scalable and distributed application systems;Problem solving, complexity analysis and algorithm design;Good communication and interpersonal skills;Advanced English, both spoken and written.

Desirable Qualifications:Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related, or 7 years of equivalent professional experience;Experience with containers and Kubernetes;Knowledge of Cassandra or other NoSQL experience, is a plus;Knowledge of MQTT, RabbitMQ or Redis;Knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment, is a plus;Knowledge of system stability and capacity standards, are a big plus;Having worked with international and remote teams;Experience working with international, cross-functional, and remote teams.
