We are looking for a Staff Software Developer to join the team and help us build our product that serves millions of users globally.
What you’ll be doing
Partner with your manager and other technical leads to define and execute the team’s 12-months roadmap, while taking into consideration performance, reliability, cost, quality and security.Solve complex technical problems that involve large distributed systems and multiple teams.Mentor team members across the engineering organization.Foster a culture of operational excellence in your team and join their on-call rotation.
What you bring to the role
Proven backend software development and technical leadership experience.Demonstrated ability to lead the design, implementation, delivery and operation of high traffic customer-facing software in production.Great communication skills in English to collaborate with teams spread across the globe.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with some technologies from our tech stack (see below).Experience working for a SaaS company.
Tech Stack
Our backend code is written in TypeScript and runs on Node.js. We use Express as our web framework.Our data is stored on MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB, S3, and is queued or streamed through RabbitMQ, Kafka and SQS.Our workloads run on Kubernetes clusters hosted on AWS. We use various AWS services.
The Poland annualized base salary range for this position is zł268,000.00-zł402,000.00. Please note that while the salary range represents the minimum and maximum base salary rate for this position, the actual compensation offered will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives that will be communicated during the offer stage.
