About the Position:

FFW’s front-end developers are the foundation of our delivery team and work on challenging client engagements and internal solutions. Our developers are trusted specialists who partner with our senior technical leadership and engagement leadership to successfully deliver services to our clients.

We're looking for a front-end developer with JavaScript experience that is capable of collaborating across international teams and has good communication skills. You will be trusted to overcome technical challenges, work as part of a fantastic team, and grow your skills and career. The position requires programming skills, problem-solving abilities, and an eye for detail.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using the latest front-end technologies like React JS and Next.js.Collaborate closely with our international teams in Europe and engage with one of the most famous brands from around the world.Integrate with RESTful APIs and headless content management systems.Optimize applications for maximum performance and security.Ensure web applications meet accessibility standards.Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality, consistency and best practices within the team.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

General Requirements:

English: Upper Intermediate level or higher. Strong experience, hands on web development with enterprise projects successfully delivered.Familiarity with Scrum/Agile development concepts.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented with good time management skills.Ability to design, clarify, test, optimize and deploy complex features. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

Technical Requirements:

Proficient with HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and other common Web standards.Proficient with of JavaScript, Typescript and Object-Oriented Design.Strong experience with React JS and Next.js.Strong experience with GraphQL.Strong understanding of Git and Git Flow.Strong experience with RESTful API development and integration.Experience with state management technologies such as: Redux, Zustand, etc.Experience with React styling libraries like Tailwind, React Material Design, Styled-components, Chakra UI or others.Experience with Unit and Integration testing with Jest.Good understanding of performance and security, how to measure and improve them.Experience with accessibility standards and best practices, such as WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).Experience with UI/UX design principles and standards.Good understanding of best practices and design principles and patterns.

Nice to have:

Experience working with Drupal or other CMS.Experience with AWS.Experience with Figma and Storybook.Education: College or Bachelor's degree in IT-Software or equivalent.Worked with large teams on large projects, including multisite setup.Experience in teaching and mentoring, demonstrating a commitment to knowledge-sharing and team development.Experience with Node.js with Express.js.Ability to resolve CI workflow-related issues.
