Our Ideal Candidate:

3+ years of experience in software development and API designSolid understanding and certification with Mulesoft, including Anypoint Platform modules and administration, Anypoint Studio development, RAML development, and CloudHubProficient in Java (related to Mulesoft), Maven, and Python for scriptingFamiliar with Linux, GIT, CI/CD, testing, containers, and monitoringSkilled at working independently and in collaboration with othersExperience in building performant, stable, and user-friendly productsSelf-motivated problem-solver with a strong desire to learnDemonstrated history of collaboration and effective communicationIs highly effective working in a remote, trans-atlatic teamAlready lives MongoDB’s core values

Position Expectations:

Build strong relationships and grasp the challenges faced by teams across the companyCollaborate to identify high-impact problems and propose creative solutionsDesign, develop, and maintain cutting-edge Mulesoft applications and integrationsContribute to the creation and review of product specification documentsWrite high-quality, well-documented, and well-tested codeOptimize Mulesoft applications for performance and functionalityShare Mulesoft knowledge and provide technical guidance to team members

Success Measures:

In three months, you'll have familiarized yourself with our existing tooling, begun building relationships with potential users, and contributed to early prototype developmentIn six months, you'll be a valuable Mulesoft resource at MongoDB, driving enhancements that improve data access, performance, and securityIn twelve months, you'll have contributed to the development of numerous APIs and data pipelines, empowering our teams to develop and analyze data more efficiently than ever before

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:

$101,000—$198,000 USD
