We are seeking a skilled remote Senior Java Developer with Hibernate expertise to join our team.

The successful candidate will collaborate with our product owner and team to implement new business features into our platform. Our ideal candidate is an experienced engineer with knowledge of a modern enterprise Java stack (Spring, Hibernate, Web Services) and Agile (Scrum) experience. Troubleshooting skills, readiness to learn, and unit testing experience are necessary for this role.

Responsibilities

Work with the product owner and team to understand requirements and propose a tech solutionImplement new business features within the platformBuild clean code, unit test it, and document changesSupport deployment to upper environments by providing necessary instructions and/or scriptsTroubleshoot issues as they arise

Requirements

3 years of experience in Java developmentExpertise in Hibernate stackKnowledge of PostgreSQL, Docker, and SpringExperience in Git and familiarity with the Code Review processStrong unit testing experienceB2+ English level

Nice to have

Basic Linux experienceExperience creating automated tests for own code
