C++ Developer:We are looking for a C++ developer that remotely supports our team based in Frankfurt and New York. In your role, you will be part of our DevOps team developing and maintaining our main product set within the world of real-time market data distribution. You will liaise and clarify issues with DevOps teams on the client side of large financial institutions. As part of this position, you will be expected to participate in a 3-day onboarding class in Frankfurt, Germany. The position itself is otherwise based remotely. Your skills:Fluency in C++ 11 or newer.Familiarity with both object-oriented and functional programming.Linux and containerization is a must, Windows is welcome, but not required.Familiarity (or ready to familiarize themselves) with the concept of a microservice and ready to program accordingly.Motivation to learn about new technologies and programming concepts.Ability to share and receive knowledge across the team.Knowledge of C++ ecosystem (make, git, ABIs, basic shell scripting).Over time ownership of products.Ability to work towards deliverables, splitting up own resources between tasks and completing them within deadline requirements.Ability to communicate within the team to resolve technical questions or issues.Liasing with technical stakeholders, both internally and on the client side.Collaborate with other teams in the company to achieve customer satisfaction and resolve customer issues in a timely fashion. Who you are:You are timely and responsive in your communication.You have at least 2 years of experience in C++ development specifically.Strong communicative and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a flat organization with a small team.Ability to interface seamlessly with a global multicultural team (culturally aware, adjusts communication style to audiences).Ability to work reliably in often time-sensitive environmentsBusiness level proficiency in English is required.Proficiency in German is a plus. You may also be required to travel to client locations throughout the year.
