Our practice is seeking a highly qualified Lead Front-end Developer (React JS) with knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML and front-end languages. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Our developers are agile and retrospective, and not afraid to identify what we’re doing wrong, so we can fix it, so we can improve on it. Above all, we judge success by the success of our team and the happiness of our customers.
Location: Plano, TX, various or Remote

Responsibilities
Meet with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications. Review application requirements and interface designs. Identify web-based user interactions. Develop and implement highly responsive user interface components and front-end architecture using react concepts. Write application interface codes using JavaScript following react.js workflows. Troubleshoot interface software and debugging application codes. Monitor and improve front-end performance. Document application changes and developing updates.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field. Previous experience working as a React.js Developer. In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages. Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux. Experience with user interface design. Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest. Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Good project management skills.
Salary And Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $87K – $141K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
