CGI is actively seeking to hire an Java Developer/O&M Support team member to support operations of business applications, including resolution of escalated end user issues, production incident troubleshooting, and scheduled maintenance activities. In this role, you’ll work within an agile team to enhance and maintain business applications and systems; as a Java developer, you’ll work with the project team to review system requirements, design and develop software solutions and enhancements using Java-based technologies. Additionally, you’ll support testing, evaluation, installation, configuration, and development of application releases required by the remediation along with required code changes.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Provide IT technical services and technical expertise in systems, technical infrastructure, tools, modeling, external interfaces,

and other technical areas. Technologies include Java/JEE, Spring, JUnit, MySQL.

Complete development, design, implementation, architecture design specification, and maintenance activities. Contribute to the development of documentation. Work closely with clients and cross-functional departments on technical issues including software system design and

maintenance and to communicate project statuses and proposals.

Analyze data to effectively coordinate the installation of new systems or the modification of existing systems. Participate in the entire software development lifecycle. Monitor system performance. Test new software and fix bugs.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree. Work experience as a Java developer. Ability to work as a member of an agile team. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with end users to resolve escalated incidents. Excellent coding skills. Experience working with clients and business partners

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $118000 - $190100.”

This position can be located remotely anywhere in the U.S
