We are on the lookout for a proficient Middle PHP Developer to join our remote team.

The client's legacy product predominantly employs PHP (Sugar/Suite CRM) with Java powering the backend. As a developer, your role involves scrutinizing, evaluating, and implementing enhancements to the client's legacy product.

You will collaborate with a cadre of adept developers, guaranteeing the delivery of top-notch software while staying abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements.

Team up with colleagues to scrutinize, evaluate, and implement enhancements to the client's legacy productCraft well-organized, efficient, and sustainable code using PHP and associated technologies, enhancing the backend systems' performanceTroubleshoot intricate issues and offer scalable and efficient solutions to enrich the overall system functionalityEnsure compliance of all backend systems with customer infrastructure and security standards, following best practicesEngage in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and maintaining code qualityCooperate with other developers and stakeholders to guarantee the product meets specified requirementsOptimize the product for high performance, utilizing profiling tools like XHprof and Refactoring with XdebugApply CI/CD processes and tools for efficient software delivery and deploymentParticipate in Agile/Scrum methodologies, actively engaging in all relevant meetings and processesExhibit strong attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously after the onboarding stage, managing time effectively

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of experience as a PHP DeveloperSolid grounding in OPcache/APCExtensive experience with MySQL, covering transactions, ACID, and slow logsProficient in profiling using XHprof, identifying and optimizing system bottlenecksExtensive experience with Redis/Memcached for efficient data caching and manipulationProficient in continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) to ensure high code quality and efficiencyProficient in containerization tools like Docker for robust and scalable software deploymentExperience in Agile/Scrum methodologies, showcasing robust teamwork and collaboration skillsAdvanced English language skills (Upper-Intermediate level) for effective communication with the team and stakeholdersNice to have
