Business Intelligence Developer

Role Description Experience: · Proven experience in development of the Microsoft Azure Analysis Services semantic layer and Microsoft PowerBI reports and Dashboards· Minimum 5 year of experience with data warehousing, SQL and ETL development· Preferable of 4 years working as a Business Intelligence (BI) developer with 4 years in Azure Analysis Service and Microsoft Power BI Competencies: (Behavioral / Technical) Key Attributes:· Experience with designing and developing Microsoft Analysis Services tabular model cubes· Strong experience with SQL and Dimensional Modeling · Hands on Experience with Informatica, ODI and Azure data factory· Experience with Self Service BI Models and data validation and testing with end user· Experience with developing Power BI dashboards and reports· Experience in using Visual Studio Data Tools (SSDT)· Proficiency in writing optimized DAX expressions · Experience with different relational databases such as Microsoft Synapse Oracle, SQL Server etc.· Knowledge on scripting specially in Python/Pyspark for data ingestion purpose Soft skills:· Data-oriented personality· Great communication skills (English to Technical to English)· Logical and efficient, with keen attention to details · Exceptionally self-motivated and directed· Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities· Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization
