Senior Shopify Developer

We’re looking for a Senior Shopify Developer to join iakoe. We specialise in creating user experiences for design-led brands that increase conversion rate and decrease CAC. We’re a tight knit team not taking ourselves too seriously, occasionally fighting fires together and doing work we’re really proud of.

What Will You Be Doing?

· Working with the UX and UI design teams to create unique, strong and innovative front-end user experiences for our clients

· Optimising site performance, UX and driving conversions

· Own ongoing site maintenance, expansion and scaling

· Cooperate with design and marketing teams to gather and refine specification and requirements for development

· Ensuring a smooth connection with marketing tools, platform APIs and Shopify apps to optimise our client’s stores for overall efficiency and functionality

· Keeping abreast of emerging technologies / industry trends to enhance operations and activities

· Pushing A/B and multi-variate tests live and trouble shooting bugs

· Communicating directly with clients

Essential Requirements

· 4+ years’ experience in with the Shopify platform and liquid

· 4+ years’ experience of front end development using Javascript, HTML5 and CSS3

· Extensive knowledge in web development, troubleshooting and bug fixing

· Strong background and knowledge of liquid templating engine

· Strong experience implementing / debugging third-party Shopify apps, as well as building unique solutions if needed

· Strong background in developing responsive layouts for desktop, tablet and mobile devices

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
