We are seeking a talented and dynamic Kibana Developer to join our team. As a Kibana Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining Kibana dashboards tailored for IT operations. Key Responsibilities:Design and Develop: Craft visually appealing and functional Kibana dashboards that cater to the specific needs of IT operations. Your designs will be instrumental in monitoring, alerting, and analyzing performance and health.Integration Expertise: Support the seamless integration of log data and metrics from various sources into Elasticsearch, ensuring accurate and efficient data visualization in Kibana.Alerting Mastery: Configure and maintain alerting rules within Kibana to notify IT operations teams of potential issues, anomalies, or threshold breaches, contributing to a proactive problem-solving environment.Optimization Champion: Continuously optimize the performance of Kibana dashboards to ensure rapid data retrieval and visualization, staying ahead in the realm of efficiency and effectiveness.Collaboration and Training: Work closely with IT operations, QA, and developer teams to understand their monitoring and data visualization needs. Provide training and ongoing support to empower teams in creating and utilizing Kibana dashboards for effective monitoring and analysis.Documentation Excellence: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed dashboards, offering clear configuration guidelines, usage instructions, and troubleshooting tips.Incident Response: Participate in incident response activities, leveraging Kibana dashboards for rapid issue identification and resolution, contributing to a proactive and agile response strategy.Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest features and best practices in Kibana and Elasticsearch. Implement enhancements and upgrades as necessary to keep our systems at the forefront of technology.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing Kibana dashboards and canvases, with a focus on IT operations.In-depth knowledge of Kibana, Elasticsearch, and the Elastic stack, with a particular focus on Elastic Observability.Proficiency in relevant query languages like Elastic Query DSL, KQL, SQL.Experience with log shipping and data ingestion tools like Filebeat and Logstash.Familiarity with IT operations, system administration, and application monitoring.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible) is an advantage.Experience with Linux-based operating systems, cloud services (Azure), container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift), and the foundation of microservice architectures is an advantage.Experience with similar tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, PowerBI) is a plus.

Remote Full-Time Position:This position offers the flexibility of remote work, with occasional travel to Brussels as needed by the customer.
