ABOUT THE ROLE We're currently seeking a PHP Back-End Developer in EU to join our Scrum team, where you'll collaborate with our experienced colleagues in a well-established backend development environment. You'll have the opportunity to implement new functionalities from a product perspective, with the full support of the project team if any challenges arise. Additionally, if you have interests beyond backend development, we welcome contributions in other areas. ABOUT THE PROJECT Join our team and be part of an exciting project centered around the creation of a cutting-edge cargo tracking system. This system is set to revolutionize existing manual processes and external systems, providing users with seamless access to all their information in a single, centralized platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and make architectural decisions to ensure the quality of the product.Optimizing code and applying good programming practicesImplement features that meet business requirements while maintaining a healthy, sustainable, and reliable codebase.Mentoring junior colleaguesParticipate in code reviews and work with the team to improve internal coding standards.Thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously learning and sharing knowledge to solve unique technical challenges.Be disciplined and motivated, maintain responsibility for all development tasks.

Proven experience as a PHP developer with expertise in the Laravel framework.Strong knowledge of MySQL and database design principles.Proficiency in RESTful API development and integration.Experience with Docker for containerization.Solid understanding of Git version control.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Fluent in English (both verbal and written).Team leadership and mentoring.

ADVANTAGES Familiarity with cloud services (Azure).Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.Experience with front-end technologies (Vue.js).Experience working in process & procedure-based work environments (Agile Scrum), following coding and documentation standards.Work with Atlassian stack (or understanding the general principles) - JIRA, Confluence.
