This is a remote based position however, candidates must reside in the state of Colorado, Kansas, Illinois, or Missouri to be considered for this position.

The Technical Development Specialist position is responsible for developing software solutions in a multi-platform client / server environment. This exciting and challenging position will provide you with an outlet to exercise your passion for developing, and put you in a position to directly impact the lives of Government personnel.

Core Responsibilities: Program for ten (10) or more simultaneous application development projectsComplete project investigations including reporting findings and estimated hoursComplete general and detail design specificationsComplete coding and documentation per general and detail design specificationsParticipate in and complete unit testing / resulting object corrections as requiredGenerate appropriate distribution packages and distribute / install objects for completed projects.Act as a technical escalation support resource for CIC client help desk

Required Skills: MIS or Computer Science Degree or equivalent software development experience3-5 Years of .NET Experience (.NET Forms with Visual Basic programming language) experience3-5 Years MS SQL Server Database experience

Bonus Skills and Experience:Crystal Reports experienceSSRS experienceTableau Dashboard / Visualization development experience3-5 Years ASP.NET (Active Server Pages with VB and/or Java programming languages) experience

Salary:$72,000 - $101,000 / Year Depending on Experience
