What You Will Be Doing

Web Portal Development: Focusing on a user-centric web portal with emphasis on seamless user experience, AI feedback integration, diverse input handling, curriculum management, and a robust system for webhook integration.Database Management and Integration: Managing connections to preferred systems (Airtable or Google Firebase) to efficiently process user submissions and AI feedback, while ensuring error handling, scalability, and performance optimization.Interface and Feedback Integration: Creating user-friendly interfaces using design tools, integrating AI feedback mechanisms through API, and continuously improving functionalities through Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.

What You Won’t Be Doing

Solely Technical Development: This role extends beyond traditional technical development; it's about contributing to an educational platform dedicated to fostering life skills in students.Isolated Development: You won't work in isolation; collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders is vital for success.

Senior Developer Key Responsibilities

Enhancement of the user experience on the student web portal, leading to a higher user retention rate and subsequently greater user numbers

Basic Requirements

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and ReactProficiency in a server-side language, such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby, and an understanding of server architecture, microservices, and hosting technologies like AWS and EC2Familiarity with database managements tools, such as PostgreSQL, Airtable, and Google Firebase

Working with Crossover

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
