Currently, Oysterlink.com is just a blog site. It is a brand-new concept. We are working on developing the job features and functionality. The site will be ready to officially launch in Q1 2024.
We are seeking to put together a talented development team, of highly qualified individuals, to make Oysterlink a success by ensuring restaurants post jobs and receive qualified applications.
We are seeking a Lead Developer to join our remote team. In this crucial role, you will take charge of our technical development, guiding a team of 2 backend and 2 frontend developers.
Your Key Responsibilities:Lead and oversee the development process, ensuring the high-quality software.Architect, plan, and implement solutions using Node.js for backend, React for frontend, MySQL database, Redis for caching, and a Microservices architecture.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and project goals.Mentor and coach developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Code reviews and quality assurance to maintain code standards and best practices.Resolve technical challenges and provide technical guidance to the team.Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to make informed technology decisions.
We will make the site free at first and start with just two major cities in the US. Our goal is:Generate 300 new job postings listed on the site per dayDeliver over 3,000 applicants to the site daily seeking jobsKeep in mind scalability and performance, as we plan to grow to 100s of thousands of active users daily, in the following phase.

Required Qualifications:7+ years of experience in leading software development teams with a strong background in Node.js and React.In-depth knowledge of MySQL, Redis, and Microservices architecture.Prior experience leading a development team and managing projects.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive solutions to completion.Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fully remote work environment.
