Optimizely Web Developer

Role: Optimizely Web Developer Work Location: Remote Duration of Project: 5 months but can be extended based on the priorities of the district. Job Description: seeks to contract with a highly experienced Optimizely/Episerver developer to work with in-house developers to upgrade Optimizely, program custom templates and themeable blocks, analyze and troubleshoot existing code, and provide guidance on best practices. Candidate Optimizely Experience Optimizely Digital Experience Cloud Platform, C#, ASP.NET MVC (Razor Engine), SQL Server, JavaScript, JQuery, React, CSS3, HTML 5, SASS, Webkit, Webpack, Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, Continuous Integrations, Automated Testing. Strong Front End skills required. Candidate Qualifications Strong consulting and communication skillsTeam player with the ability to adapt to changing situationsWork independently and manage technical requirementsExcellent at both front and back end developmentWrite clean, optimized, well-commented and easily digestible codeStrong debugging, problem solving and investigative skillsWrite technical documentation, if neededBachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent)Minimum of 5 years of professional experienceMinimum of 2 years Optimizely/Episerver experienceDeveloper will work remotely on their own equipment.Developer will be provided with a virtual machine with all of the software necessary to perform the job.Developer will remote into the VM daily to perform the work.
