The Payments team is responsible for the complete payment lifecycle, from customers first placing their orders within the Checkout to handling the refund of a returned item weeks later. The applications of the Payment team maintain span from high traffic & fault tolerance API hubs to security-conscious and reliable backend processing engines.

Work in a scalable software architecture of our API written in PHPApply modern software working methodologies such as extreme programming and practices such as TDD and Pair-ProgrammingEmbrace team collaboration in our agile cultureExtensive tech stack: use the right tools for the right jobsLots of space for your ideas and creations, flat hierarchies, and very short decision-making processes

Who you are

Minimum 4 years experience with PHPYou have practical experience developing APIsYou have experience in working with MySQL, Redis, or equivalent data storageYou have strong experience with gitYou have an entrepreneurial mindset and approachYou are passionate, eager to learn, and self-motivatedYou know what is servant-leadership and act as a mentor for your peers

Nice to have

You have experience of working with high volumes of data & load intensive environmentsYou have experience working in highly integrated environmentsYou have extensive experience building & consuming REST APIs
