Job Description:Emeritus is seeking an Expert Network Developer to work across several strategic projects on the Solutions and Engagement team, with a particular focus on supporting our academy product strategy via the development, engagement, and maintenance of an industry subject matter expert network. The Solutions and Engagement team sits between sales and product and is responsible for helping the team drive revenue while identifying, securing, and/or building the solutions, delivery, and product stack that will allow Emeritus to become the partner of choice for enterprise education. The team operates like a “startup within a startup” and is also the consulting function of the enterprise business, working closely with clients to understand their most pressing education and enablement needs, and build out the products and solution sets that will help solve those problems. This role will report to the VP, Solutions & Engagement, and will collaborate with Sales, Solutions, and Engagement team members. Key Responsibilities:Work closely with the VP, Solutions and Engagement, and the directors across the Solutions and Engagement teams, on a variety on initiatives including but not limited to:Identifying, recruiting, and maintaining relationships with experts. Based on our evolving Academies product strategy, take direction from the Solutions and Engagement team on the kinds of experts that are needed to create thought leadership, content, case studies, and deliver educational experiences, across our different geographic focus areas (spanning USA, Canada, LATAM, Europe). Source/identify, recruit, vet, negotiate with, ensure contracting with, and maintain relationships with these experts. This will require sourcing leads, performing various types of outreaches, and pitching Emeritus’s business model and Academy products to bring new experts into the network.After sourcing experts, work with them to create targeted, detailed profiles about their experience and expertise that can be used for specific client projects and Academy collateral. Engage expert network to develop thought leadership with Emeritus. Act as the primary point of contact for our expert network in the development of thought leadership for our Academy products, and identify opportunities for speaking engagements, public dinners, podcasts, articles, etc., that help raise awareness of our experts and the Academy products.Recommend and secure experts for specific client projects. Based on specific requirements from the Solutions or Engagement team, recommend specific experts for specific client projects. Act as the main point of contact to engage with these experts for specific projects and maintain accountability for great experiences both for our internal team as projects are staffed, and for external experts as they engage with us. Job Requirements:5+ years of experience in networking and building expert networks; and other relevant professional experience.Startup experience highly desired; a background in client service, recruiting, project management, networking, business development, or relationship management, is preferred. Detail-oriented with strong project management skills.Experience managing and creating excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Strong negotiation skills.Strong critical thinking skills; able to operate in ambiguity and contribute to the develop of a new product.Experience working across multiple teams in an organization to make progress on strategic initiatives.Ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to take high-level inputs from different stakeholders and distill them into concrete next steps and action/project plans.Must enjoy thinking about ways to improve processes, and willingness to jump in on execution of strategies; and ability to impartially review what went well and what we need to do better.Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred. Compensation and Benefits:Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 - $125,000 annually. Pay will be determined on several factors including but not limited to location, skills, experience and may vary from the range listed above.
